Jack & Harley are quiet the pair -
Jack's the calm and steady air.
He takes his time, a gentle chap,
Content to dream upon my lap.

Then there's Harley, quick and spry,
With twirls and rolls that catch the eye!
She loves attention (and gets it too),
​Together they make quite the crew.

Oliver, the Shih Tzu is a sweet little guide, proudly showing me around his 3 acres before flopping down inside to cool his belly on the hardwood floors and enjoy lots of being petted!

My other walking friend and ball fetcher:). Kenobi, the 1-year-old GSP, is basically a rocket on a leash - dragging me through the neighborhood, with a baby in his mouth, especially his stuffed pizza slice. He is a beauty!

Mango, the orange tabby tomboy kitty, lives like a king inside with toys galore and his favorite gray string for entertainment. Sweet & funny one minute, crazy wild the next, he only unleashes his outdoor explorations when mom's around - half calm & cool, half tornado! I love his fun personality:). 

Bailey many be an older girl, but don't let that fool you - she's still got lots of pep when it's time for a walk to the playground, pausing only to investigate special smells and favorite trees. And the best part? She sticks close, listening with those wise eyes while I talk to her, soaking up pets with all of her sweetness. 

Smyrtle, is quite the character - every day she greets me with a full story, complete with dramatic pauses and tail flicks (I'm still waiting for the movie rights). She demands attention, then lounges on her favorite bed. With food, crunchy kibble, toys galore - life is her buffet. But her true weakness.... the kitty mitt. Pet her with it and she is in kitty heaven:)

Bella, the Golden Retriever is sweetness wrapped in fur, greeting me at the door with a blanket, pillow, or whatever "baby" she's chosen for the day. She's a fetch queen, a professional yapper when balls roll under furniture, and so patient she even lets the wild Boston Terriers sniff her face (and constantly be in her face). We hope this happy girl comes back to visit soon -- blanket or baby in mouth, of course. 

Kona, the chocolate lab with that "kiss my head" look (yes, you just have to:)), is a fetch fanatic who squeaks her pig toy like it owes her money and runs like she's in training for the World Cup. Lola, the gorgeous Corgi, is a professional eye-gazer and attention collector who requires lots of petting! I really enjoy taking care of them:). 

This one is about as sweet as they come! Layla is an adorably sweet kitty with a playful streak. She loves chasing her laser toy, batting at yarn, rolling in the crinkly paper and showing off her frisky side, but she's just as happy to be right beside me, getting lots of petting and attention.
